My reaction to Making ‘The Master' with Poster Artist Dustin Stanton

Reading and observing the article Making ‘The Master' with Poster Artist Dustin Stanton, I see that all the movie posters/covers he had develop are there to capture the essence of the movie while also evoking a sense of mystery.

Does the Style of Design Die off?

After reading  "To the Point: Interview With Dave Perillo, aka Montygog" , I asked myself  the question "does the design of an era or decade die off?" and looking at Dave Perillo's art I take that as a no. I recently went to Shoprite and found a bag of 50th annaversary Bugles Bag an thought "wow this is awesome." even though I wasn't born during the 60's I could still appreciate the design that was common place. Another way you could say its design is still relevant, because its breaths new life into a age old brand showing its long history with its customers.

Alien fox

How I see the function of design.

After watching the video, "Rethinking the way we sit down" I feel like all technology starts at a phase where it only remain functional, while over time design is smoothing out of the edges to better fit the human needs.
